About ComparePensions
Pension charges in Ireland are public information — the Pensions Authority publishes the contribution charges and annual management charges of every approved PRSA product. But they are published as a spreadsheet of seventeen differently formatted sheets that few savers ever see. A difference of one percent a year in charges can change a retirement fund by tens of thousands of euro over a working life.
ComparePensions makes that public data readable: one table, consistent columns, with the raw source always linked. It adds plain-English guides to how Irish pensions work and the key official reference figures, each linked to the Revenue or government page it came from.
What this site is not
- Not advice. Nothing here is a recommendation of any product or provider. Charges are one factor among many — fund choice, service, investment options and your own circumstances matter too, and this site does not assess them.
- Not regulated. ComparePensions is not authorised or regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. It does not need to be, because it provides information only — it does not advise on, arrange, sell, or broker any financial product.
- Not commercial. No fees, commissions, referrals, affiliate links, lead generation, advertising, cookies, or data collection.
